The Veloce is the first takedown model in the Mercurial Vapor IX line from Nike. Unlike the Vapor, the Veloce does not feature ACC (All Conditions Control). The Veloce features the same Teijin synthetic found on the Vapor IX but does not feature the same texturing and thinness of the top model. The Veloce is a speed boot designed to be lightweight and give you the ability to feel like your feet are almost barefoot. The soleplate is all TPU plastic and features a small section in the mid foot and heel that features a glass fiber design but actually is not glass fiber. The Mercurial silo is one of the most popular lines in the world today. If you are looking to have the mercurial look and feel on your feet then the Veloce is a great option. The Veloce is very thin and is great when trying to make nice clean touches on the ball. There is not much of a problem with the Veloce, except if you have wider than average feet, then you may want to look elsewhere.
