The Puma evoPOWER 1.2 in the White and Hawaiian Ocean colorway is one of the more subtle color combos from any of the Puma boots over the last year. With the launch colorway of the evoPOWER 1.2 being a Peacoat and White boot, the new white color is much more simple and offers another option for those who want to wear an evoPOWER but don’t want their boots too flashy.
The technology is all there in these bad boys. The upper is made of AdapLite (a premium one way stretch microfiber synthetic) that allows the boots to bend with your feet like you were kicking the ball barefoot. This enables optimum power delivery to the ball and allows a near perfect strike. The premium AccuFoam pads enhance the kicking accuracy through even pressure distribution across the boot. The EverFit Cage that is found on all of Puma’s top boots this season, and is external on the evoPOWER.
The fit of the boots are very forgiving. If you have wider feet go ahead and give the evoPOWER a chance because these have a wider fit than most boots on the market. Now if you have slimmer feet, maybe try these on before you decide you want to wear them all season as there may be some extra space between your foot and the upper, specifically on the instep (no pun intended) of the boot. The soleplate features a lightweight Pebax outsole with a combination of bladed and conical studs. The Gradual Stability Frame technology is anatomically engineered to be lightweight and offer an optimal mix between stability and maneuverability. This means that on the heel and the midfoot the outsole is very stiff and ridged to give you more stability. The front of the boot is very flexible and is able to move with your foot, as if you were striking barefoot.
The evoPOWER line has only been around for a little over a year and has quickly become one of the best cleats available today. Mixing durability with lightweight technology and unique striking elements, the evoPOWER is not only one of the best performers on the market but also one of the most reliable. The likes of Mario Balotelli, Cesc Fabregas, and Marco Reus are professionals that have been wearing it, or a version of it, on the professional stage.
