The most noticeable name in the entire womens national team, Alex Morgan has enjoyed incredible success at the highest level since she burst onto the national stage in 2011. Her incredible knack for scoring goals have made her one of the most popular US womens athlete in any sport. Growing up in Diamond Bar, California, Morgan blossomed into one of the best high school soccer players in the country and was named NSCAA All- American. She then took her talents to the University of California- Berkeley where she led the team in scoring every single season she was there.
After college the Western New York Flash, of the WPS, drafted her with the first overall pick in the 2011 draft. After nearly giving the US the win in the 2011 Womens World Cup with a goal and assist, Morgan is one of the first women on the squad sheet for every US national team match and plies her trade for Portland Thorns FC in NWSL.
