New York City FCs main man is one of the most well known strikers in the world. The Spanish international and World Cup winner came to the newly-formed MLS club last summer as the clubs very first signing. Villa made his first team debut at Sporting Gijon during the 2000-01 season. He caught the eye of 2003 La Liga newcomers Real Zaragoza.
