If youre an American soccer fan, one of the hardest names to hear after his stunning Gold Cup goal a few years back is Gio Dos Santos. His career has been all over the globe and he has found success and heartbreak. He started his journey with Barcelona in their famous youth academy, La Masia. He worked his way up from an 11-year-old talent to a young promising first team player at 19. He would then move on from Barcelona to Tottenham Hotspur in London. His time was spent almost entirely on loan at Ispwich Town, Galatasaray, and Racing Santander.
The Mexican international would then move onto the RCD Mallorca in a transfer move that would see his impressive form make a name for himself. However, Mallorca would be relegated. He then would move onto Villareal CF. He finally was starting week to week but after the first season in Villareal, he saw his playing time decrease and he was on the move again, this time to LA.
