Weston's soccer journey began in Germany while his father was stationed at Ramstein Air Base for three years. At the age of six, he had joined his first club and in 2006 had the chance to meet two US Soccer legends. At the age of seven he met Landon Donovan and Carlos Bocanegra as they geared up for the World Cup. Many youngsters dream of emulating their idols. Few have the chance. McKennie is well on his way to becoming a legend in his own right and already has 19 caps and 6 goals to his name. McKennie is an aggressive (maybe a bit much at times) and physically imposing midfielder. Be prepared to be knocked about if you cross his path. Once he wins the ball, don't expect him to take a break. His high energy transitions to attack as he moves from box to box. We can't wait to see McKennie line up with the likes of Pulisic, Adams, Reyna, Sargent and the rest of the young guns who will don the USMNT Home Match Jersey in 2020!
