France away players

The France national team has the perfect mixture of youth and experience on this squad that could possibly make a deep run into the World Cup tournament. After a disappointing performance in the 2010 World Cup, they are looking to shut up all the nay-sayers. I believe many of their stars like Benzema, Pogba, Nasri, and others are entering their first World Cup in their prime so they will be looking to make a splash. Also, their group is nothing to be frightened about because countries like Switzerland, Ecuador, and Honduras don’t look like they are ready to take this group by the horns. Overall, I believe this squad has a very good chance to advance out and who knows what can happen during the knockout stages. Not only are things looking up for the World Cup, but also Nike dropped France’s new away kit that you will see them wearing in Brazil this summer.

Nike France away kit full

This jersey features a brand new crest, which is inspired by the 3rd place 1958 French national team. There is definitely plenty of room for this crest to show it’s boldness and style. The new blue bird stands alone on the crest and the feather’s on the cockerel are elevated in the same blue color. As well, the Nike swoosh symbol is woven into the jersey across from the crest. Both of these give the top some detail onto an otherwise plain white top.

The away jersey has a stand collar, and inside the back of the neck there is a small section that features the red, white, and blue colors of France’s national flag. The top is almost entirely white which gives it a clean looking appearance. The shorts are a midnight navy which is almost the same color as the French home top. Both give a denim looking appearance because the fabric is inspired by the southern French town of Nimes, the birthplace of denim. This kit is very simple looking, but has deeper meaning.

This kit has all the bells-and-whistles! You would think it would because of the $149.99 retail price tag, or $134.99 at SoccerPro.com! This kit will keep you cool and regulate your body temperature with Nike’s Dri-FIT technology. They are able to do so because of the laser cut holes on the side and the mesh panels located throughout the back of the jersey. The material is super comfortable against your skin while still being lightweight. With all of these Nike jerseys the only thing that changes between the tops is the colorway. So basically style and fandom are the only factors you will have debate when buying a jersey.
