Closing out what some are calling the “Year of the Predator”, adidas has dropped the next generation of the iconic Predator Silo.
While it was definitely the year of the Predator, the return of the iconic Fold-Over tongue Predator certainly was the star of the show. In 2024 we have seen 17 different iterations of the FT Predator, each more iconic than the one before it. While we have seen a great deal of change in 2024, adidas is showing no signs of stopping in 2025 with the drop of the updated Predator.
The newest iteration of the FT Predator comes at you in a yet another retro-inspired look. Using the Champagne colorway that was made so popular by the Predator Mania from 2002, the all new Predator is bringing the past into the present.
Using a Off White/Core Black/Pure Ruby, these boots get an iconic twist to the boots that have cemented the boots into the history books. Not only are the boots getting a refreshed and iconic look, but they’re also getting some tech upgrades to make these powerful boots even stronger. StrikeSkin still sits on the upper using with rubber fins that are longer and larger in quantity. These rubber fins are strategically placed in the strike zones of the boots for enhanced grip and more precise shots. The tongue has been slightly adjusted in shape and the sole plate still brings that iconic Predator stability.
