Arguably one of the most iconic collections in football, Nike has just launched their latest edition to the Dream Speed line up.
Celebrating legacy, speed, and self-belief, the MDS 009 is the latest drop in the Dream Speed Collection that takes inspiration from the three previous drops in the lineup. The latest Dream Speed launch takes its look from the original name sake of the collection along with the MDS 004 and MDS 005 drops. Paying homage to the legacy and heritage of one of the game’s most exciting collections, the MDS 009 is certainly in a league of its own.
The MDS 009 is the first Dream Speed boot of the updated Mercurial Vapor 16 and Superfly 10, coming in with a Green/Metallic Gold Coin Colorway that is truly a story in itself. Kicking off the boots is a warped pattern in the midfoot that is meant to represent players breaking through barriers. Blue pieces sit on throughout the boots emphasizing control and mind flow and is paired with Orange detailing that promotes creativity and concentration on the pitch. Finishing off the bold style of the MDS 009 is the iconic Nike swoosh that is covered in gold with the MDS Logo subtly sitting on the inside of the design.

While the MDS 009 is an updated colorway to an iconic boot, it doesn’t hurt to remind you about the speed tech that the updated Mercurial Superfly 10 and Mercurial Vapor 16 are sporting on the pitch. Using a 3/4 length Air Zoom unit on the underfoot, players are now getting super spring acceleration that pushes the limits of speed. An integrated speed cage sits on the boots to give you a more lock down feeling that is also more stable than ever before. A newly reimagined Vaporposite+ upper uses a grippy, grid mesh premium lining that gives a more natural feeling on when players step into the boots. Tri-star studs add the extra touch stability to the boots while also giving you a more dominant finish.
