The 2011-12 Manchester United Home Jersey

Manchester United have kicked off this seasons campaign for Premiership by introducing the latest and greatest Manchester United home jersey.
Although they’ve chose to keep the classic red devil color, there are a few changes to the new kit that look sharp. Out goes the collar from last years home kit, and in comes a black and white striped crew neckline with center front insert. Also, the white stripes on the shoulder are gone giving this Manchester United jersey a cleaner look. The new design features a shoulder that has seams running to the front with a devil detail on the back in white. The Manchester United crest is embroidered on the left chest with the Nike swoosh on the right giving it the same balanced look we’ve come to expect from United jerseys.
This clean, sharp design is sure to be well received down the Stretford End and what is lacks in flash, it makes up for in heritage.

I’ve played soccer since I could walk thanks to my father and love keeping up on all the latest gear and gab. I’m in my twenties, and I’m lucky enough to have found work in search marketing for a leading soccer retailer after completing my M.A. at Georgetown in 2008. My team is Liverpool, and national side is Ireland, but I’ve also got a passion for GAA and a number of sports. Feel free to give me a shout on Google+
