Adidas seem to be dominating every aspect of social media lately. They unveiled their 5th new release in the past week with the brand new Solar Gold X 15.1. The colorway will also carry over to the Leather and the Primeknit versions as well. The Solar Gold is the most vibrant to date with a mix of Black and Shock Pink. Most of the X 15 colorways have been somewhat standard apart from the Eskolaite Pack and the gray/blue/black colorway. If you’re a fan of brightly colored boots that help you stick out on the pitch, this one could be the one for you.
The brand spanking new colorway has already received a run out from none other Barcelona star Luis Suarez. Seeing an unreleased colorway seems to be a fairly common occurrence now, which certainly helps our boot spotter Jordon out in his weekly boot spots.
The X 15.1 has been a huge hit in both the amateur and professional ranks. The TechFit collar helps wrap your lower ankle tightly to give you a nice sock-like fit and feel. The X-Skin synthetic is thin yet padded to give you the best of both worlds in terms of a clean touch on the ball while giving a slight bit of protection. The Non-Stop Grip, bumps help in aiding with grip in wet weather conditions so that you can have the same feel for the ball no matter where you are. The X-Cage is designed to lock your foot down and keep you on the soleplate during your entire ride. The tight fit and feel will allow you to make sharp cuts and turns with ease. The X-Claw stud configuration is a take off the old F50 soleplate but it has added some smaller and shorter studs to allow the X to be played on both FG and AG without any issues.
We play tested and reviewed the X 15.1 in an earlier colorway and if you have any questions about the X 15.1, head over and check out the review.
Whether this is your first adidas X or you have been a fan since its launch, this new colorway will catch your eye. I fully believe there will be a 50/50 split on the people who love and hate the Solar Gold colorway.
