In their last season with the club, Nike has just dropped one of Liverpool’s most iconic and retro-inspired kits in the history of the club.
With their partnership expiring at the end of the 2024/25 season, Liverpool and Nike have dropped a kit that pays homage to their history while also celebrating a partnership that has reimagined kit design for the better. The 24/25 Liverpool Home may look like the traditional home for the Reds, but the beauty is truly in the details this go around.
Kicking off the Liverpool Home kit is the traditional red base that the Reds have sported at home for decades. A chrome yellow pinstripe pattern sits on the jersey, but at closer look, these are not just stereotypical pinstripes. The club’s YNWA motto that has powered them to trophy after trophy is actually carefully woven in to the pinstripe design of the kit while also adding a modern take on the traditional style.
A retro-inspired white collar uses red and yellow detailing that pays tribute to the 1984 squad that captured the European Cup trophy 40 years ago. White side paneling tops off the kit and brings the look together for a Home kit bound for the top of the table.
