Manchester City have a brand spanking new kit courtesy of their new kit suppliers, Nike, and have just unveiled it during their summer travels to the United States. Wearing the kit on a day out in New York City yesterday, most of the players could be seen wearing the new Manchester City jersey, which reportedly cost Nike 72 million pounds for the sponsorship rights.
The shirt itself is pretty safe design choice from the American brand with a light blue base and white and dark blue rings around the neck and ends of the sleeves. The crest is switch on the left and the white Nike logo sits opposite on the right so they’re really aren’t any surprises on the shirt. Overall, it looks decent, and does seem to have a bit of sheen to it in the sun. Beyond that, its made from Nike Dri-Fit materials, and should set you back around $90.
