Fans around the world are looking to represent their favorite team or player with a new jersey. That’s where The Center Circle comes in. We’re going to break down the top 7 jerseys that players are wearing out on the field, so that you can properly represent your favorite sport in style.

Ajax Home

The Dutch team’s white-and-red “apron” style used for its home kit has been a long-time classic, having been first used in 1911! For this season, adidas added a little bit of flair with golden touches on the trim and club crest, as well as on the player’s names and numbers on the back. The gold is to represent “golden moments” in soccer, and the extra bit of shine certainly does just that.

FC Barcelona Home

Keeping the classic blue and red stripes, FC Barcelona’s home jersey for this season is slightly lighter in color than previous years, and meant to call back to the 1922 Olympics, which had been held in Barcelona. It’s meant to represent the “new light” that burst into the Catalonia region thanks to the Olympics and the revitalization brought.

Manchester United Home

It’s hard to go wrong with a classic, but even a perennial stunner like Man U’s can enjoy an update or two. In this case, the jersey collar’s new triangles lining the edge help add a little more spark to the English team’s look.

AC Milan Home

The Serie A champions from last year are trying to defend their crown in this new design. While the black and red vertical stripes are a classic look for the team, the jersey makes use of PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE technology, a new fabric meant to be as light and durable as possible for players on the field.

Juventus Home

Always a team willing to experiment, the Turin-based team’s jersey seems like previous iterations from a difference. A closer look, however, reveals that the classic black stripes are actually series of black triangles descending down the chest, back, and arms. These triangles are meant to emulate the mountainous Piedmont region that Juventus calls home.

Arsenal Away

Keeping the classic red for their home look, Arsenal’s away look is a bold black look, with geometric shapes formed by varying shades in the fabric. This sleek, modern look is accentuated by the bronze-gold lettering for the team and sponsor logos, making this jersey look like something celebrities would wear.

Bayern Munich Home

Keeping the traditional red, Bayern Munich’s big update this year is adding horizontal stripes across the jersey’s front. Not only that, but the stripes are of varying thickness, and accompanied by a white collar and cuffs, helping to break up the crimson a little. Additionally, the German team will be celebrating its “10 in a row” season (winning ten games back to back during the 2021-2022 season) with a special golden badge.
