Umbro have been on a roll the last few years by introducing the Velocita and the UX-1 into the world of soccer, and they haven’t stopped yet. Umbro have re-released the Umbro Speciali Eternal as the next leather boot to hit the market from the English brand.
The Speciali line is headlined by Portugal and Real Madrid defender Pepe, and he has to be excited to be the face of the newest addition to the Umbro family. The tongue craze continues from brand to brand as now Umbro, like the adidas Gloro, have put the famous tongue back on their leather shoe. The softest leather upper in the forefoot is designed to give any player wearing the boots the most premium leather to have optimal touch on the ball.
The rest of the boot features a full-grain leather to keep a nice touch on the ball all over the boot. Comfort is the name of the game for the Speciali and the Wishbone outsole along with more modern studs, help these keep your foot comfortable throughout your time in them. Flex grooves are found in the forefoot to give more flexibility for cuts and sharp turns.
Umbro have turned back the clock to resurrect a popular boot that was worn by the famous Deco among others. The cleat is available in a few different colorways, among them being the classic black and white. I’m loving this idea from Umbro and I love the look of the “new” Speciali.
