Nike's Considered Design Program

Nike launched a new "Considered Design" program, which has been created to minimize their environmental impact, without sacrificing their excellent quality products. Here are some of the perks:

All of the new Nike kits use the Considered Design program
The Considered Design reduces waste during the design and development processes.
The new kits are made entirely from recycled polyester, produced with up to eight plastic bottles pulled from landfills in Japan and Taiwan.
Using this process, Nike has saved nearly 13 million plastic water bottles. This is approximately 560 lbs of polyester-waste that could cover over 29 soccer fields, and stretch over 1,800 miles from one end to the other.
