An undefeated season, the Premier League trophy, and a 49-match unbeaten streak stretching across two years. They're called "The Invincibles" and it's highly improbable anyone will ever do what they did again. With a few Frenchmen leading the way, the Arsenal team of 2003-04 set out on a remarkable journey. Arsene Wenger managed a core group of Thierry Henry, the now-legendary French striker, fan favorite keeper Jens Lehmann, and winger Robert Pires to dizzying heights.
What's amazing is that, in the season's opening match vs. Everton, it was almost over before it started. Then, a few weeks later, it took an epic missed Man United penalty to keep it going.
