Soccer has been played in Croatia since the beginning of the 20th Century. Since 1990 the Vatreni (Fiery) of the Croatian National Team has played 107 international matches, and gained the especially valuable score of 53 wins, 33 draws and 21 defeats. A dazzling soccer display earned their youth team victory in the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championships in Chile. Many members of that team went on to become full international stars and 11 years later, Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinecki, Davor Suker, Robert Jarni and Igor Stimac caused the biggest surprise of the 1998 FIFA World Cup France?, when they led their nation to third place in their first finals appearance! In the quarterfinal, Miroslav Blazevic 's chequered shirts unexpectedly ousted reigning European Champions Germany with an emphatic 3-0 defeat. Davor Suker ? later to be crowned the tournament's top goal scorer ? scored twice, earning Croatia a semifinal against the host nation France. In a memorable semifinal the Fiery Squad took the lead with another goal by Suker, before Lilian Thuram ended Croatia's dream. Blazevic's boys overcame Holland in the play-off to take third place ? the best finish in their soccer history! With talented players in the fold like Igor Tudor and Josip Simunic in defence, Niko Kovac in midfield and the effervescent Dado Prso up front, under Zlatko Kranjcar the proud soccer nation defeated Sweden 1-0 October 8th, 2005 to qualify for the World Cup 2006!
Not stoked on your gear? No problem because we have Lifetime Returns. Please DO NOT wear/use the item and try to return it as new. If you do this monkeys with wings will show up at your front door. It's weird.
SoccerPro ships with 99.975% accuracy. Tested over 4,000 orders. We applied for the Guinness Book of World Records...haven't heard back yet. We're pretty sure it's a slam though.
Any item marked as clearance isn't eligible for a return, unless it's defective. I'm arguing with the boss man on this one (I feel your pain). Threw a rotten tomato at his head...direct hit. He still wouldn't budge.
